State College Deck & Fence started in 2016 with a simple idea: build outdoor structures the right way for homeowners in State College and the surrounding townships. The team grew up in Centre County and knew firsthand how tough the winters get here - and how much a well-built deck or fence matters when you actually want to use your outdoor space.
State College is a unique market. You have older homes near Penn State's campus, newer subdivisions in Ferguson and Patton townships, sloped lots that need elevated decks, and winters that freeze the ground 36 to 42 inches deep. State College Deck & Fence is registered under Pennsylvania's Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act. Any contractor doing residential work over $500 in PA is required to carry this registration. You can verify ours through the Pennsylvania Attorney General's office before you hire us.
We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage on every job. That protects your property and our crew. We are happy to provide a certificate of insurance before any work begins - just ask when you call.
